FUNDUS FLORESEIN ANGIOGRAPHY

It gives detailed information about the retina (film) layer of the eye.

It especially helps in diagnosing vascular diseases of the retina.

After dilating the pupillas of the patient, 10% fluorescein substance is taken from the arm and the fundus (retina-film layer) picture of the eye is taken in series and the images are recorded.

During the passage of fluorescein in the choroidal and retinal vessels, different images depending on the existing pathologies are obtained, these images are interpreted and give information about the diagnosis and the effectiveness of the treatment.

It is used in the diagnosis of many diseases, especially diabetic RetinoPathy (DRP).
